Nick Torres

Sports have always been a foundational part of my life. Growing up in South Florida and later playing collegiate football at the University of Louisiana Monroe, I learned the value of leadership, resilience, and mental toughness. As a team captain, I faced both victories and setbacks that shaped my character and instilled in me the drive to lead by example. Those experiences taught me how to stay grounded, push through challenges, and bring out the best in those around me.

After a career-ending injury shifted my path, I found myself coaching and mentoring others. Still connected to the competitive spirit that fuels me. Eventually, I returned home to South Florida and discovered a new calling in healthcare recruiting. Today, I help healthcare professionals find meaningful roles where they can grow and make a difference. Every step of my journey, from the field to the office has taught me the importance of connection, commitment, and purpose. I’m excited to keep building relationships that change lives, one placement at a time.

I love recruiting because it’s incredibly rewarding to help nurses find roles where they feel valued and can truly thrive. There’s nothing better than seeing someone land a great opportunity and watching their confidence and career grow. It’s about more than just filling a position, it’s about making a real impact on people’s lives. I take pride in building strong relationships and being a trusted resource for the nurses I work with. Seeing their success makes all the hard work worth it.

When I'm not working I like to
When I'm not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors, whether I’m out on the water, fishing, or just relaxing on the boat. I enjoy staying active and make time for the gym as part of my daily routine. I believe a balanced lifestyle makes me a better recruiter.
