Hi, I'm Jose!

I am a Healthcare Recruiter at Cell Staff! I have been in the healthcare recruiting field since 2021 mainly focusing on clinical skills. In my almost 3 years of experience, I have recruited for a large hospital system and world-renowned oncology and neurology center and served as Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Assistant Administrator for a statewide Home Health Agency before transitioning to my current position in correctional healthcare.

I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Bethlehem, PA. I have lived in Florida for 3 years now, first moving to Jacksonville and now calling St Petersburg home. I received a BS in Applied Psychology with a minor in Political Science from the East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Psychology. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I worked as an Intensive Case Manager for a nationwide behavioral health nonprofit. Since moving to Florida, I have fallen in love with the sunshine state and all it has to offer as well as the world of healthcare recruiting and talent acquisitions! When I am not at work you can usually find me out at the beach or lying by the pool.

When I'm not working I like to
Go to the beach, spend time out by the pool, spend time with friends, try out new restaurants/bars, travel, and spend time with my pup, Jax.
