Machine Operator Job Duties:
Set up and prepare machinery for production, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.
Operate machinery to blend, mix, package, or transport liquid or dry chemicals in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure the highest quality output.
Inspect and test product samples for quality and consistency.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Comply with safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective equipment.
Clean and maintain machinery and work area.
Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues or escalate problems to maintenance as needed.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift and move materials as necessary (up to 50 pounds).
Willingness to work night shifts and extended hours as required.
