We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Third Shift Reactor Operators for our Auburn, ME facility. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our Resins production team, with responsibility over the reactors used to make our specialty resins, while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. This position requires a punctual, dedicated individual able to perform physical tasks.
As a Reactor Operator, you will be responsible for:
Work on the production floor with consistent speed and accuracy.
Mix resins according to their formula.
Perform tests accurately and document according to procedure.
Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
Follow all procedures, work instructions for all product types
Must be able to identify materials, determine and verify quantities
Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care
Report any machinery issues to management
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Be able to read, write and do math computations.
Be able to identify materials and determine quantities and to detect defects, imperfections and discrepancies.
Work closely with others, follow directions and adjust to changes in orders during the shift.
Drive forklift, use tools and wear a respirator at times.
Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines
Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
