In this position, you will perform rope splicing and operate twisting, winding, braiding, and finishing machines, adapting to production needs. Success means consistently producing high-quality products and ensuring machines run smoothly. As a Rope Splicer / Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Adhere to safety policies at all times
  • Perform basic, single- and double-braid splices, including Yale whiplock
  • Maintain splicer certification and inspect each product before advancing
  • Read drawings, tag and label orders accurately, and maintain production paperwork
  • Operate machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and promptly report issues
  • Ensure product quality by inspecting for variances and following packaging specs
  • Keep your work area clean and safe using 6S standards
  • Cross-train on material handling tools (forklift, pallet jack, ladder) as needed
  • Take on additional duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
