Nic's Bio

Hello, I am Nic Sandlin but my co-workers call me "Crick". Long story short, I am from Swartz Creek or "The Crick".

Favorite candidate I have helped: There was a .NET Developer I stayed in touch with for 2 years and I finally found her her dream job which was 100% remote and direct hire.

Favorite recruiting moment: I helped a recent college graduate find his first fulltime professional job, it was great to help kickstart his career.

Favorite Blue Chip Talent events: My favorite events so far with Blue Chip Talent have been the kickball tourneys, Woodward Dream Cruise, and the trips to Cancun and Dominican Republic.

Major Recruiting Highlights: In 2021, I obtained my career high in start goals with 24 starts and my all time number of starts since 2017 is 127.

Why I love to recruit
Recruiting is awesome because you can change peoples lives financially and mentally and I get to meet new people. I have become friends for life with candidates that I have helped. It is always good to hear people get excited when we can deliver that "Great Opportunity" with an offer.

When I'm not working I like to
I am a avid sports fan who played any sport you can think of growing up but actually played two years of JUCO baseball at Mott Community College. I also love to game on my PlayStation, play hockey, create podcasts, play yard games, run a wiffle ball league, and take trips up north.

About Nic Sandlin:

Nic has been amazing! Extremely professional, extremely thorough, and just overall a great experience. Even if nothing amounts from this job opportunity - I still would hold so much appreciation for Nic and the team. I can’t say enough of courteous he has been. It’s been a breathe of fresh air in a really dark job market right now. Thank you, Nic!

About Nic Sandlin:

Nic is just a pretty nice guy -passionately doing his job and empowering deserving professionals like myself through strategic placement. Although I’m still on the process with his placement but something resonates about Nic; he’s gone above and beyond to sharpen my resume with much ado about it. His feedback is always timely and on time. I love working with him.

About Nic Sandlin:

Nic was recommended by a former coworker. From his first text message response to my reaching out, through the initial remote meet-and-greet, and the follow-up email answering my post-meeting questions, Nic has been enthusiastic and encouraging in his dedication to finding my next role.

About Nic Sandlin:

My experience speaking with Nic was very positive. He created a comfortable and genuine conversation that allowed me to share both my professional background and personal interests. I appreciated how he took the time to connect on a personal level—like when we talked about our dogs—which made the discussion feel natural rather than like a formal interview. Nic was friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to, which helped make the experience engaging and enjoyable. I can’t think of anything that would have made the experience better; it felt well-balanced and authentic.
