Responsibilities 

  • Create pixel-perfect designs and prototypes leveraging the firm's Design System  
  • Proactively suggest improvements to the platform, not only in reaction to request 
  • Rely on qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions 
  • Create wireframes and prototypes using the Lean UX methodology to solve business needs and problems  
  • Provide clearly defined specs and interaction guidelines to the Development team 
  • Work closely and autonomously with Developers and Product Managers to test and review online product enhancements to ensure flawless execution

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BFA) with 10+ years of demonstrated experience solving design challenges using user-centered design best practices. 
  • Experience leading teams, including performance management, hiring, coaching and mentoring 
  • Solid understanding of major design applications specifically Figma 
  • Experience in both (mobile & desktop) web and app applications

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000 (inclusive only of base salary, and exclusive of other potential competitive benefits such as bonus payments, and equity). Our ranges are very broad to accommodate all types of candidates and encourage growth. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.


Sr. Network/Systems Administrator - Contract

For our direct client, a fast-growing fintech company in downtown NYC, we seek an experienced hands-on Sr. Network/Systems Administrator for an immediate contract role. This role will be responsible for managing daily technology operations and providing support for a team of 150+, working with a small focused IT team. It offers a blend of hands-on technical support, network and systems administration, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a service-driven approach. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.  Onsite daily in downtown NYC (World Trade Center).

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Security Management

  • Oversee network infrastructure, including Fortinet equipment and security solutions such as Crowdstrike (EDR) and Cloudflare (Zero Trust).
  • Manage VLANs, network segmentation, and failover systems for uninterrupted connectivity.
  • Ensure data security by implementing and maintaining encryption standards across all devices.

Systems Administration & IT Support

  • Administer Google Workspace and manage MDM (Filewave) for software deployment and remote support.
  • Maintain password management systems, access controls, and asset tracking via Fresh Service.

The tech stack is Typescript/React on the frontend and C#/.NET on the backend, built on top of gRPC services. While visual design skills are welcome, the primary focus of this role is technical implementation.   Key Responsibilities:
  • You would be responsible for picking the design patterns to enhance the front-to-back stack for the web applications. This role requires expertise in frameworks, data transmission, and caching strategies to make scalable and performant web applications.
  • A key component of the UI would be developing highly performant data grids that support grouping and pivot-like capabilities across many dimensions. You would be familiar with all aspects of optimizing the browser rendering and data delivery to minimize latency for large volumes of data.
  • You would be expected and encouraged to go ‘outside your lane’ and work on other architectural components as needed to bridge any gaps needed to support the web-centric initiatives.
