Qualifications

Lead Software Packaging Engineer – End User Computing - Remote

We’re seeking an experienced Lead Software Packaging Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with a prestigious global organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who knows enterprise application packaging inside and out and enjoys working in a large-scale, modern Microsoft endpoint environment.

Can be done remotely from within the US, East Coast work hours required.  

You’ll take ownership of application packaging and deployment across Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, and MECM/SCCM, while helping guide packaging standards, processes, and a team of experienced and developing engineers.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead application packaging and deployment activities within a large global enterprise environment.

  • Build, test, and maintain software packages for Windows 11 using MSI/MST, MSIX, INTUNEWIN, and related technologies.

  • Work directly with application owners to gather requirements, assess packaging complexity, and develop deployment solutions.

  • Create and manage application deployments using Microsoft Intune and MECM/SCCM.

  • Support the continued migration of applications from MECM to Intune in a co-managed environment.

  • Develop automation and packaging solutions using PowerShell.

  • Troubleshoot application installation, deployment, Intune, and MECM client issues.

  • Support phased enterprise application rollouts, upgrades, and retirement of end-of-life software.

  • Help manage packaging standards, workflows, SLAs, and junior team members.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum planning and collaborate with engineering, application, QA, and business teams.

What We’re Looking For
  • 9+ years of experience across enterprise software packaging, application deployment, and endpoint engineering.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and MECM/SCCM.

  • Significant experience packaging applications for Windows 11.

  • Exceptional PowerShell skills.

  • Experience creating packages using tools such as InstallShield, AdminStudio, Win32 Content Prep Tool, and Winget.

  • Experience with MECM OSD Task Sequences and Intune Autopilot.

  • Experience working in co-managed environments and migrating workloads/applications from MECM to Intune.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including MECM and Intune clients, logs, application installations, and deployment failures.

  • Knowledge of Windows troubleshooting and performance tools including Procmon, Perfmon, and Windows Performance Toolkit.

  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, WAN/LAN, and Windows Server environments.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a large enterprise environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting macOS or Ubuntu/Linux endpoints.

  • BASH, batch scripting, or additional programming/scripting languages.

  • Enterprise privilege management experience using solutions such as Ivanti or Microsoft Intune.

  • Advanced Windows endpoint engineering experience.

Investment Data Analyst - Automation About the Role  Our client, a leading fintech firm, is seeking an Investment / Financial Data Analyst to join the Automation team in Stamford, CT. This role will ensure a seamless flow of financial data for the firm’s clients and internal teams. This individual will support business critical processes from portfolio management system conversions to performance reconciliation and will be part of a dynamic team focused on innovation and efficiency, working with cutting-edge technology to streamline client onboarding and reporting.  Responsibilities 
  • Lead data conversion projects, including extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data between portfolio management systems. This involves understanding source system requirements, mapping data to new system standards and managing the conversion of large datasets from legacy systems.  
  • Integrate historical financial data by converting potentially complex and unstructured data files and statements into structured formats suitable for backfilling.  
  • Provide support for automated data feeds, troubleshooting issues and ensuring the seamless transformation of daily financial transactions and positions into source system imports. This requires a strong understanding of the automated data processing system.  
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests from client-facing teams, providing timely and accurate information. 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in finance, computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science, or a similar field 
  • 2-5+ years in the financial industry, demonstrating a proven track record of financial product support, technical proficiency and solid accounting knowledge 
  • Expertise with Addepar and familiarity with other portfolio management systems, such as Axys, Black Diamond, Orion. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and text file manipulation.  
  • Experience with at least one of the following: Python, SQL, Power Automate or other large data set software, demonstrating the ability to extract and transform data  
  • Understanding of Salesforce, Monday.com and Jira  
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and comfortable communicating with clients as needed
