Our Client, a New York City based Trading Technology Firm is seeking a candidate who has experience developing and architecting multi-tenant, cloud-native B2B applications. You have designed real-time, distributed, messaging-based microservices emphasizing high availability and scalability. You deeply understand the security and performance designs for a system with a large user base hitting both an API and web front end. You have a framework mindset: you are passionate about making an elegant and reusable pattern/library/framework every time you see boilerplate code or something done haphazardly.   Key Responsibilities
  • Go-to subject matter expert on containers, cloud-computing, multi-tenant architecture, and security
  • Develop and deploy microservices using containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.
  • Build tools and frameworks to improve developer quality of life
  • Implement and configure real-time monitoring solutions to track system performance, application health, and infrastructure metrics.
Hard Requirements:      Technical:
  • At least 10 years of development experience in C#
  • 5+ years of experience architecting high-available, distributed microservices with in-memory cache
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and distributed caching solutions like Redis
  • Deep experience with gRPC
  • Experience with performance optimization, threading, load balancing
      Non-Technical:
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A self-starter mentality, ability to make independent, reliable decisions
  • An affinity for well-architected solutions and a passion for high standards of quality
     Miscellaneous:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
     Nice to Have:
  • Experience at a small to medium-sized company (strongly preferred)
  • Advanced degrees or certifications
  • Experience with Amazon AuroraDB, and Amazon Timestream
Note: This position is ideally hybrid, with on-site work in Midtown Manhattan once or twice a week. However, we are open to considering fully remote candidates based on qualifications and fit for the role.
