Fractional IT Director – Growth-Focused Services Company

Location: Hybrid – Connecticut HQ (with remote flexibility) Engagement: Contract / Fractional (could be long-term part-time, also has potential to convert to full-time) Our direct client is a successful company, a leader in their field, and is seeking a hands-on, strategic technology leader to guide their IT strategy and execution as they scale. This role begins as a fractional/contract engagement but could evolve into a long-term leadership position.

You’ll work closely with executive leadership, business teams, and external partners and IT vendors to both deliver high-impact projects now and define the long-term technology roadmap that supports the company's growth goals.

Key Immediate Projects

• Lead analysis of and potential replacement of the CRM platform

• Oversee email system migration to unify Google and Microsoft (environments.

• Drive cross-functional process improvements to streamline operations.

• Translate business needs into actionable, scalable tech solutions while managing vendor relationships.

• Long-Term Strategic Focus

  • Develop and present a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.

  • Assess and optimize IT infrastructure, security, and scalability.

  • Advise on data strategy, system integrations, and AI and automation initiatives.

  • Contribute to executive-level planning and innovation efforts.

• Experience desired:

  • Proven experience in technology leadership roles 

  • Experience managing both infrastructure and applications .

  • Ability to work across diverse stakeholders
