Supervisors are to ensure the technicians are on time at site, are clear on requirements, ensures HSE RAMS are conducted, ensures HSE point of work risk assessments are conducted, QA requirements are adhered to. These site requirements are a must for all sites, where there are to many sites to manage it is agreed which sites are requirements with communication with the manager. The manager must support in these occasions.

JOB DESCRIPTION Role Purpose: Powerworks Maintenance Services Ltd provide ongoing maintenance and emergency service to a wide range of customers for their critical power needs which include delivering critical support to the following industries: IT & Communications, Healthcare, Education, Facilities Management, Defence, Government & Councils. Role Responsibility: You will utilise your knowledge being a qualified electrician to work alongside our other engineers to carry out the following duties: • Carry out electrical installation of the company’s products on customer’s sites • Carry out site surveys in conjunction with sales staff to determine method and costing of installation • Ordering of materials for the works • Carry out Battery System installations as well as replacement In addition it is anticipated that the successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for power electronics and will be trained in the commissioning, fault finding and repair of the company’s UPS products. On completion of this training it is expected that the jobholder will form part of our maintenance backup team, joining the ‘on-call’ rota and attend customer’s sites as necessary in event of a fault occurring. Your responsibility includes being able to be able to integrate easily with our friendly team (both engineers and office staff), communicate well and clearly, be honest, hardworking and reliable as well as know how to handle him/herself in front of customers. Suitable candidates will have industrial installation experience, preferably with and NIC IEC registered firm. Our clients are located throughout the UK and expect the critical systems to operate 24/7, therefore a reasonable amount of travel to client’s locations will be required, including the requirement to stay overnight away from home. Required Skills / Experience / Qualifications: We are ideally looking for an engineer with electrical experience and willingness to work on UPS Systems as part of a team. Work will include repair and service of uninterruptible power systems, in a wide variety of commercial and industrial settings throughout the UK. • Level 3 NVQ Electrical & AM2 or HNC/HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent • City & Guilds 2391-50 / 52 • IEE 18th Edition Regulations • 3+ years with industrial electrical experience (preferably with an NIC EIC registered company) • Computer Literate (All office associated programs such as, word, excel, outlook) • Good customer service skills • Strong communication skills • Organised, dependable and motivated • Hold a CSCS Card • Clean, Valid UK driving license Job Location: Our offices are based in Gosport, Hampshire where you will be based. Working Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday office based and working throughout the UK as required staying away as required, inclusion within the call out rota, which rotates weekly within the Service department.
