Project Manager – Anaerobic Digestion Oxfordshire – Hybrid working £60,000 - £75,000 DOE + excellent benefits     Introduction Astute are working with a company who design, build and operate anaerobic digestion facilities in the UK and rest of the world. Due to company growth, they are currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team and support with up and coming projects.                     Roles & Responsibilities As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing project execution plan during bid phase, including: schedule, support estimate development, executing and contracting strategies
  • Dealing with all stages from design through to commissioning
  • Maximizing project efficiency and profitability
  • Manage to Project Budget, forecast, managing variations and changes
  • Ensuring all health, safety, quality and environmental procedures are integrated into the clients activities
  • Provide a key technical focal point for all engineering and technical clarifications
  • Maintaining all contract administration to ensure clarity on project costs, schedule and quality
  • Other duties as required
      Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:
  • A degree in Engineering, or equivalent qualification with proven experience of delivering similar projects
  • Full understanding of the design, installation and project management of process plants (training can be given on the clients process)
  • Proven experience of managing engineering projects
  • Health, Safety and environmental leadership
  • Able to give presentations to senior managers, clients and other external bodies
  • Understanding of waste and renewable energy is an advantage

Biogas Field Service Technician

Responsibilities and duties of the Field Service Technician role

Reporting to the Field Service Manager you will:

  • Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of biogas upgrading plants, gas transport systems, and anaerobic digestion facilities.
  • Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using specialist diagnostic equipment and technical schematics.
  • Support commissioning activities, system upgrades, and refurbishment projects across customer sites.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to operators and clients during breakdowns and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency breakdown situations when required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, service reports, and spare parts records using internal service management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all QHSE procedures, risk assessments, and site safety regulations.
  • Coordinate tools, consumables, service vehicles, and spare parts to ensure operational readiness.
Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • A higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience within industrial maintenance, servicing, or field service environments.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience using diagnostic and maintenance tools within industrial environments.
  • Previous experience within biogas, anaerobic digestion, renewable energy, or process industries would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills and experience using CMMS or field service management software.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Plant Manager for their site in North Warwickshire   The strategically important Plant Manager role comes with a salary of up to £65,000 life assurance, employer pension and additional benefits package.   If you’re an experienced Plant Manager who has experience with COMAH regulations and are looking to work for a leading business within the renewable energy sector, then submit your CV to apply today.   • Optimising process plant operations
  • Managing feedstock processing and planning
  • Weekly and monthly reporting of plant efficiency, trends and analysing data

  • WAMITAB or a willingness to work towards
  • NEBOSH or willingness to train towards
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  Personal skills   The Plant Manager role would suit someone who is:  
  • Experienced in anaerobic digestion or a similar heavy processing environment at a managerial or supervisory level
  • Experience working on a COMAH regulated site
