Responsibilities and duties of the Cost Controller role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will:

Manage, administer and maintain project cost forecasting and cost management systems.

Develop and implement suitable cost control systems to support effective cost, time and performance management.

Manage project costs including planning, developing, controlling and forecasting project budgets.

Prepare and submit KPI information to the client, coordinating internally with relevant team members to obtain required supporting information.

Prepare monthly internal cost and value reconciliation reports.

Support the commercial team with payment applications and other client-required reporting.

Advise the project team on cost coding and budgets for the preparation of requisitions and subcontract orders.

Ensure project financial data is accurately maintained and reported.
This role is working on-site in Seascale and will require a flexible working attitude.

Experience working with construction-related costing systems and accounting practices.

Strong ability to manipulate data and develop spreadsheets using Excel and similar tools.
