Waste & Recycling - Robotics

Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience

They are looking for someone who is passionate about progressing within their career and wants to contribute to the company’s continual success and growth within the waste sector. You will play a key part in supporting the business by providing first response to engineering issues.
This role would be ideal for someone that is interested in robotics and wanting to learn and develop their skills and knowledge.
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out both remote and on-site maintenance support at recycling facilities. Carrying out electrical and mechanical works on robotics and waste segregation machinery.
- Playing a vital part in providing our first response to engineering issues, reactive and planned maintenance activities.
- Helping to evolve and improve our existing systems as they grow.
- Always work safely.
- Following risk assessments and work instructions and maintain a clean working environment.
- The main point of contact following installations, working to maintenance service agreements in place.
This role will involve travel across the whole of the UK and some areas of Europe. Please only apply if you are comfortable with this level of travel.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Open to regular travel within Europe and occasional weekend work with time in lieu
- Able to work at our Waterloo office in London.
- Electrical or software knowledge is not necessary but would be an advantage.
- Network configuration knowledge is not necessary but would be an advantage.
- Good communication and people skills
