Astute are partnered with a leader in the Waste Management industry who are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to work out of their Waste Transfer Station in London (SW).
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business within an industry that is only going to continue growing as we move towards a more sustainable world.
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Hands on maintenance across the site
- Working on a range of cranes and mobile plant
- Driving plant availability through carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and engineering improvements across the site
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical tests in line with legislation
- Other duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Electrical maintenance experience in either the Waste industry, or a similar Heavy Industrial setting

17th or 18th Edition
- Experience with PPMs and reactive repairs
- Knowledge of a range of plant (preferably mobile)
- A strong team player and a health and safety conscious focus
Salary & Package
What’s on offer for this exciting role:
- Basic salary of £44,720
- Monday to Friday 40 hours per week as standard
- Rotational shift pattern (06:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 – 22:00)
- Night shifts and weekend overtime paid at T1/2 or 2x
