an international leader in nuclear power to recruit a Fire Engineer for its Bristol based office.
The Fire Engineer role comes with a base salary up to £65,000 with added benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Technical Manager
you will:
- Conduct internal studies on all buildings within the consortium’s design responsibilities, ensuring that safety functions are carried out in the even of a fire occurring within the plant.
- Work with building leaders, systems engineers, civil engineers, and plant layout engineers to derive logical solutions for fire protection.
- Analyse 3D models and identification of combustible materials in allocated regions.
- Conduct temperature change calculations for simulated fires.
- Complete studies for the risk of damage to certain systems.
- Monitor the models and changes issued by engineering departments in terms of layout.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Engineering degree.
- Working knowledge of Fire Regulations including BS9999
- Calculations experience in Fire Protection.
