Astute’s team is exclusively partnering with one of the UK industry leaders in Hazardous Waste Management to recruit a Graduate System Support Analyst to join their established technical team in Wolverhampton. This position is focussed around the strategic systems management for their waste systems and enquiry process.
The Graduate System Support Analyst role comes with a salary of £25,000- £27,000 dependant on experience and the chance to join their development programme on-site.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Technical Systems Manager you will:

Provide key technical support in relation to internal waste management systems, auditing projects and enquiry order processes (EOP) to ensure efficient implementation and development of current and future systems.

Carry out day-to-day management of support enquiries from all areas of the business, liaising with teams across the entire business unit.

Provide assistance in the training of on-site teams in the use of these internal systems and required processes.

Audit data within the internal systems for quality management, working in line with business objectives and current procedures, presenting reports and feedback to senior teams on performance.

Provide administrative and technical support on all Waste Management System enquiries alongside the Technical Systems Manager.

Set up technical data within the system, ensuring all information meets current permit requirements and legislative compliance.

Proactive regular internal and external interfacing and communication, producing technical reports when required.

Maintaining continuous professional development and competence for the role

Any other reasonable duties as and when required.
This role would suit a recent graduate with an interest in technical systems and a passion for working within the waste management/ environmental sector.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

A degree or equivalent (HNC, HND) in a Science, IT, Mathematics or a related technical subject.

Full UK driving licence is essential.

Some prior experience using SQL of similar computer programming language would be preferable.

Ability to perform logical analysis and interpret technical data.
