Responsible for setting a delivery strategy from Business Development through to successful delivery of Projects.

To be ultimately accountable for the successful delivery of Projects.

To build and display outstanding leadership to integrated Project delivery teams, whilst maintaining close working collaborative working relationships with Clients.

3.1ย ย ย ย ย ย ย To be responsible for the safe design and construction of the works. To ensure that everyone goes home safe and healthy every day.
3.2ย ย ย ย ย ย ย To plan & manage the overhead cost and resources of both bid and construction teams to achieve agreed business targets.
3.3ย ย ย ย ย ย ย To deliver projects to Budget, Programme & Quality requirements in compliance with the Clientโs Requirements
3.4ย ย ย ย ย ย ย To represent the best interests of HOCHTIEF in accordance with the companies policies and values.
3.5ย ย ย ย ย ย ย To lead the Projects team, displaying exemplary behaviours in line with HOCHTIEFโS visions and values
3.6ย ย ย ย ย ย ย To select, recruit and create high performing teams, operating in the optimum environment to enable the growth and development of a mature, talented and fulfilled project team.

6.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย REQUIRED PROJECT KNOWLEDGE
6.1ย ย ย ย ย ย ย To be a degree qualified Civil Engineer preferably with Membership of a Chartered Institution

6.2ย ย ย ย ย ย To be able to demonstrate at least 20 years of experience managing complex rail and infrastructure projects.
6.3ย ย ย ย ย ย ย To demonstrate successful delivery of appropriate Projects within the UK Construction market

7.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย AUTHORITY LIMITS
7.1ย ย ย ย ย ย ย The Major Project Director is responsible for the approval of expenditure to a limit as specified by the Executive Board for each individual Major Project.
7.2ย ย ย ย ย ย ย The Major Project Director is responsible for the approval and sign off of timesheets and commercial orders and invoice payments related to Major Projects within the designated limits set by the executive Board for selective projects.
