Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Board, you will be responsible for:

Develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies, encompassing asset planning, maintenance, and optimisation, in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards

Fulfil obligations under the Management Services Agreement (MSA) and oversee compliance with key Project Documents

Drive plant performance optimisation in collaboration with the O&M contractor, safeguarding the plant’s short- and long-term interests.

Oversee lifecycle activities including planning, execution, review, and value assessment.

Contribute to annual business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking with the Board and Lenders.

Oversee facility management contracts and procurement processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and cost-effectiveness.

Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews with the Board, escalating key issues and seeking guidance when required

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Ideally degree educated in an engineering subject (not a necessity though)
Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge
The Asset Manager role would suit someone who has:

Prior experience working in the Energy from Waste/Waste to energy secotr (this is a necessity)

A result focussed, team player, who can demonstrate experience of working in a leadership role as part of a small team in a similar environment.

Strong financial and commercial acumen

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to produce reports on complex issues to both internal and external stakeholders.

Proven track record of identifying and drive business improvements
