Mechanical Fitter Salary – £16.60 per hour Hours – 47.5 hours per week Location – Darrington Quarry, WF11 0AY As a Mechanical Fitter at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for the safe and effective maintenance and repair of fixed and mobile plants across our operations. You will play a key role in supporting operational continuity and minimising equipment downtime while maintaining high safety standards. This is a full-time position, working five days per week. We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter who: - Has experience maintaining and repairing static and mobile plants, ideally within a quarry or similar environment - Is a self-motivated problem solver with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills - Works well both independently and as part of a team - Demonstrates a strong awareness of health and safety procedures and safe working practices - Is organised, reliable, and able to manage their workload efficiently - Has completed relevant Competency Management System modules and other required training
