Dan joined Astute in 2015 as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. After 6 months, Dan was promoted to a Consultant and since then has moved up to Principal Consultant. Dan works in Astute’s Power team, recruiting permanent and contract roles such as Technicians, Engineers, Operators and Managers for leading businesses in the Energy from Waste, Biomass, CCGT and general Power space. He holds a level 3 in recruitment and a degree in Business Management.

Dan likes to explore new cities with his partner whether it’s in the UK or further afield. He also plays computer games as well as supporting Liverpool FC. When he’s not at work, he’s usually playing with his two cats, Leo a Bengal Cross and Lyra a Ragdoll.

Dan has been quick and responsive to my application of C.V. to Astute. He immediately contacted me and was able to arrange an interview for one of the positions that I was qualified for. His emails regarding the interview process and knowledge about the company and site I could potentially be working at was extremely helpful and the follow up has been brilliant.
