Stores worker – Power Generation

Introduction
Astute are currently seeking a qualified Stores Operator / Technician with a valid forklift licence to assist with an outage on a power station in Marchwood, Southampton. This role is predominantly working 4 on 4 off 12 hour nights but there is a period of 8 hour days at the start and end of the project.
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:

Move inventory and materials across facilities

Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location

Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors

Stack and organise large bulk items
-
Accept deliveries and unload from trucks using forklift
-
Wear safety gear and PPE at all times
-
Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from site
-
Work as an active team member to complete team goals
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Counterbalance Forklift licence
-
Computer Literate
-
CSCS Card
