Commissioning Engineer Role (minimum requirements)  Clearance Minimum requirements SC Key Knowledge and responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming parts, outgoing products, subcontracted work, and purchased components.
  • Conduct process audits.

  • Proven experience as a Metal Polisher, desirably in a highly regulated industry.

Junior Engineer Role Requirement Reporting to : Site based Construction Manager / PM 5 days on site Mon Fri, split between site and office as required Role tasks but not limited to: . Interrogate document control system to identify the required system design detail to assist with planning and reviewing site installation works. . Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a fully integrated solution provider that delivers a wide spectrum of services across project lifecycles to the nuclear and defence sectors to recruit a Fitter for a major nuclear client site near the Greater Reading area.   The Fitter role comes with an hourly rate of £34, and accommodation allowance (£250 a week) depending on your situation. Key skills required for the Fitter role  
  • Recognised mechanical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting.
  • Demonstrable experience in mechanical fitting within highly regulated environments (e.g., nuclear, defence, petrochemical).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel to site each day
