Electrical Inspector

We are working in partnership with a leading EPC Contractor within the Power Industry in the UK. We are currently recruiting for a QA/QC Engineer / Welding Inspector to join the EPC Contractor on a new build Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Eye, Suffolk.  The QA/QC Engineer/Welding Inspector will responsible for reviewing and inspecting all piping installations. The Welding Inspector will work closely with the Quality Manager onsite, implementing the Project Quality Plan in line with project specifications, erection procedures, inspections and test Plans (ITP's), plus they will be tasked to really drive the quality and health and safety onsite.  The Electrical Inspector role comes with a day rate of £400-500.      Key skills    
  • Ensures understanding and implements the Clients and the Project’s Quality Standards
  • Work closely with the EPC quality team for the successful delivery of various scopes of works
  • Monitors and supports Quality Control activities
  • Perform independent visual, dimensional, inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, and finished product assemblies.
  • Carry out inspection tasks in other areas when necessary.
  • Supervise the welding teams on the work, and guide if necessary.
  • Initiate non-conforming issue reports for both customers and suppliers.
  • Preparation of PWPS's and WPQR's, witnessing of welding procedures and welder qualifications.
  • Issuing completed procedures and welder qualifications to standards.

We are working in partnership with a Renewable Energy provider. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Programme Manager. The Senior Programme Manager role comes with a competitive rate from £500-£550.     Key skills   
  • A genuine demonstrable interest in, and passion for, delivering high quality, complex multi-site projects safely, collaboratively, on time and to budget
  • Be highly resilient, energetic and agile- capable of leading projects in different phases, different regions and with different teams
  • A clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Experience in developing and maintaining positive client and stakeholder relationships
  • A recognised and relevant degree or professional qualification in engineering, project or construction management 
  • Expereince within the energy or other highly serviced sectors (e.g. Infrastructure, manufacturing, process engineering, medical, automated distribution etc.)
