Plant / Site Manager - Anaerobic Digestion

Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with an impressive business and a key company driving the UK towards our net zero targets. They own a portfolio of renewable energy assets and are looking for a Plant/Site Manager to join an anaerobic digestion plant in Dungannon, who process waste to generate renewable gas. This Plant/Site Manager role comes with a starting salary of up to £60,000 and an excellent package too.   • Supervising the daily operations of the plant and remote sites, ranging from production and efficiency to enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Crafting procedures aimed at optimizing stewardship, safety, quality, environmental impact, and productivity.
  • Upholding consistency, surpassing goals, and enhancing efficiencies.
  • Striving to meet rigorous compliance and certification standards such as IPPC, ABPR, ISO, and PAS110.
  • Guaranteeing the seamless operation of the plant, including maintaining biological stability and overseeing processing.
  • Supervising all products, potentially including aiding in transportation and haulage.
  • Managing feedstock levels to ensure the acceptance and processing of suitable feedstock.
  • Overseeing new projects, upgrades, as well as design and installation tasks.

  • Conduct regular meetings and maintain excellent communication with the management and supervisory team.
    Professional qualifications     We are looking for someone with the following:   
  • Full UK Driving License
  • PAS110 Understanding
  • WAMITAB
    Personal skills     The Plant/Site Manager role would suit someone who is/has:   
  • Previous experience working to KPI’s & budgets.
  • Experience working within Anaerobic Digestion.
  • Experience managing teams effectively and professionally.
    Salary and benefits of the Project Quality Manager role    
  • A salary of up to £60,000
