Energy Centre Manager

This crucial Energy Centre Manager role comes with a salary of £58,693 to £71,634 plus a London allowance of £3,550 per annum and additional benefits.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of Energy Centre Engineers, ensuring high performance and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Oversee all operations and maintenance activities, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient running of energy centre assets.
  • Provide visible leadership in health and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
  • Develop and implement long-term operational strategies to optimise performance and asset reliability.
  • Manage maintenance contracts, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance activities are delivered effectively.
  • Control operational budgets and drive cost efficiency across the sites.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure technical governance and compliance.
Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • ONC (Ordinary National Certificate) or equivalent qualification in engineering, or significant relevant experience.
  • IOSH or equivalent safety qualification.
  • Authorised Engineer status.
  • Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk management.
  • Understanding of the commercial impact of operations and maintenance activities.
