Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the Site Mechanical Engineer, you will:

Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure efficient plant operations.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, providing detailed records in the site’s CMMS (Maximo).

Develop and refine maintenance procedures and technical documentation.
-
Supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Ensure alignment with industry regulations such as PSSR, DSEAR, HASAWA, and LOLER.

Provide technical support and out-of-hours assistance when required.
Professional Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

A mechanical apprenticeship or an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline.

Proven experience in maintaining rotating equipment and steam systems.

Familiarity with CMMS for reporting and work tracking.

IOSH certification and awareness of relevant legislation would be helpful.
