This Maintenance Technician role comes with a base salary of £46,500 + benefits and shift allowance.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Manager or Regional Maintenance Manager, you will:

Perform reactive and planned maintenance across all plant systems.

Diagnose and rectify faults on complex machinery and equipment.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and safety.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Maintain accurate records using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

A minimum of Level 3 BTEC or NVQ in a mechanical or electrical discipline (or equivalent).

A completed apprenticeship in engineering.

Significant experience in heavy industry or process-driven environments.
-
Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and regulatory standards.

Strong fault-finding skills on mechanical and electrical systems.

Either a mechanical or electrical bias.
