  • Perform full range of plant maintenance tasks and repairs on a proactive/planned and reactive basis.
  • Use predictive maintenance techniques such as thermo-graphic imaging and vibration analysis as well as experience, skill and judgement to make regular assessments of the plant condition.
  • Implement equipment reliability improvements and develop new maintenance work-flow methods and techniques.
  • Employ Preventive/Predictive maintenance techniques to achieve benchmark plant reliability
  • Ensure adherence to safe system of work, ppe permits, risk assessment etc
    Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:
  • Technical school higher qualification (NVQ) or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge with relevant hands on experience.
  • Electrical qualification.
  • Basic understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance techniques
  • Excellent technical, analytical and fault-finding skills
    Personal skills The Electrical Technician role would suit someone who is:
  • Experienced with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure
