Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will:
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the telecoms, energy, rail, highways, and water sectors.
- Building and managing a robust pipeline through proactive market research and lead generation.
- Delivering compelling client presentations and negotiations, showcasing the company’s technical expertise and value-engineering capabilities.
- Developing trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, procurement teams, and framework leads.
- Representing the business at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows to promote services and build networks.
- Working closely with estimating and commercial teams to produce competitive, high-quality proposals.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business strategy.
- Maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients through strategic account management.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure excellent project delivery and customer satisfaction

- Proven experience in specification sales within the civil construction industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence delivering CPD presentations.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
