Introduction…

Astute are proudly partnered with a well-established business who provide a range of services across the Home Counties including Demolition, Plant Hire and Waste Management.

They are currently seeking an experienced SHEQ Coordinator with a strong knowledge of compliance to join their team, visiting a variety of sites to ensure that all operations are being undertaken in line with legislation and government guidelines.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

As the SHEQ Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • The undertaking of ISO audits on a monthly basis
  • Advising colleagues and external stakeholders on Health & Safety related issues
  • Ensuring business operations are being undertaken in line with legislation and government guidelines
  • Translating legislation into workable solutions for the business
  • Undertaking inductions and toolbox talks
  • Presenting reports to senior management

 

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant role (Waste sector would be an advantage)
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
  • Full UK driving license
  • Knowledge of ISOs (specifically 9001, 14001 and 45001)

 

Salary & Package

What’s on offer for this exciting role:

  • £35,000 basic salary
  • Monday to Friday 8 – 5 hours
