Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with
a leading provider of complex Engineering Solutions and services to the nuclear energy, industrial and petrochemical sector, to recruit a Senior Integrity Engineer to be based at Sizewell B.
This brand new position will be performing inspection of industrial plant for the monitoring of degradation and corrosion of assets, while developing relationships with customers. This role comes with a base salary up to £56,000 per annum.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Integrity Manager
you will:
- Conduct assessments of industrial plant items such as pipework, vessels, tanks, supporting structures.
- Conduct inspections and make recommendations while liaising with company Technical Authorities to develop solutions and propose improvements with respect to known degradation issues.
- Review proposals for remedial work and recommendations for corrosion management according to industry best practice.
- Develop and refine inspection routines.
- Develop resource plans for inspection activities according to schedule and scope requirements.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Qualified in plant inspection such as Level 2 or 3 CSWIP Plant Inspector.
Personal skills
The Senior Integrity Engineer role would suit someone who is:
- Substantial inspection/integrity experience.
- Self-motivated and driven to deliver own workload with minimal oversite.
- Aspirations to broader team management and capability development within a large multifaceted organisation.
- Experience in working within a highly regulated environment, such as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Chemical Production, or Aerospace (for example).
