Astute are partnered with a long established, independent, family-owned business who offer services from Demolition to Plant Hire and Agricultural Contracting. Our client is looking for Machine Operator with experience in operating Dozers and Diggers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive business with some exciting projects in the pipeline and continuous investments made.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Operating and driving 3–30-ton Diggers
• Grading landscaping to a high standard
• Loading, lime, and muck spreaders
• Loading lorries and dumpers with various materials
• Track and roadway construction
• Screening, crushing, and land raising
• Operating of wheeled and tracked dumpers, JCB telehandler and bulldozer

 

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Telehandler and dumper licence
• NPORS Standard digger and screener crusher
• CPCS Qualification
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, who can communicate well with customers and contractors
• Be flexible and adaptable to seasonal variations to hours worked
• Willing to work long, unsociable hours at busy periods during the year as and when required
