Job Title: Staff Pharmacist - Sterile Compounding
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay Rate: $60-63/hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform sterile IV medication preparation following USP standards and safety protocols in a controlled sterile laboratory environment
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Verify and approve compounded preparations
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain workflow efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all prepared medications
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist License
- PharmD degree from an accredited institution
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows
- Physical ability to stand and work with hands for extended periods
Schedule: Flexible scheduling available within operational hours:
- Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
