Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our employee-owned Long Term Care Pharmacy in Lincoln, NE. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in processing and filling prescriptions, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the efficient operation of our closed-door pharmacy. Training and development are a priority, with support available for those pursuing PTCB certification.

Core Responsibilities:

• Process and accurately fill prescriptions within a closed-door pharmacy environment
• Provide professional customer service and support to clients via telephone
• Perform data entry tasks for patient and prescription information
• Operate and maintain med-cup packaging systems for medication distribution

Required Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and precision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn new systems and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a medical or pharmacy setting (not required)

Schedule:

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in customer service, particularly within the pharmacy field. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, including handling inbound calls, managing data entry, addressing patient needs, processing prescriptions, and coordinating with doctors. You will work in a rotating schedule and perform different job duties based on the needs of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
