As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:- Compound sterile and/or non-sterile medications according to established protocols and prescriptions
- Maintain appropriate drug inventory levels and complete accurate documentation of all compounds prepared - Keep detailed clean room logs and ensure compliance with USP standards and regulatory requirements - Clean and maintain compounding equipment and work areas according to protocols - Monitor inventory levels and alert management when supplies need to be ordered - Perform quality control checks on prepared compounds - Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to deliver quality patient care - Assist in developing and improving workflow processes and standard operating procedures - Document all compounding activities in compliance with regulatory requirements - Perform duties while standing and working with hands throughout the shift The ideal candidate for this role will have:- Previous experience in pharmaceutical compounding (sterile or non-sterile)
