Angela Ojeda

Angela has been in the staffing industry for 20+ years. She started her journey in sales for a Tampa Finance and Accounting staffing firm. It was a fluid transition from her time at Grant Thornton as an auditor. Eventually, she was recruited to be part of a start-up for the largest private staffing firm in the U.S., ProStaff. They wanted to expand their service offering to include F&A and it was a very valuable learning experience. Then a unique opportunity came knocking. Ajilon (Division of Adecco) was developing a Talent Acquisition team to recruit talent internally for the company.

This career move led to 11 years with the organization. Early on Adecco corporate decided to expand the TA team to be a shared service for all of Adecco Group North America. This change allowed Angela to work with every business unit in the organization. Finance and Accounting, IT, Healthcare, Engineering, Legal MSP, National Delivery, etc.

After 6 months on the team, Angela was promoted to Research Manager. She hired and trained a sourcing team to support the Executive Recruiters on the TA team. This was in conjunction with continuing to recruit. She wrote policies, procedures, SLAs, training, etc. The team grew and eventually, the sourcers were groomed and trained to become recruiters. Angela was promoted for the second time to Division Manager to lead the Southeast and be the main point of contact for the VPs. This was all in addition to managing two other Recruiters, managing the Research team, and recruiting.

In her time with Adecco, Angela recruited countless Account Executives, Recruiters, Managing Directors, and VPs to the organization. Multiple Superstar and Circle of Excellence winners, a team that contributed to Branch of the Year, the first Direct Hire teams in NYC and Chicago, and the most awarded and recognized Executive Vice President to date, and so on. Roughly 500 people overall.

Angela earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida majoring in Accounting and Marketing. She is originally from Chicago and is proud of her large, Italian family. She currently lives in Tampa, FL with her husband Carlos, and three children. A girl, Ava, and twin boys Alexander and Cristiano are the lights of her life. Music is her passion! She also loves dancing, running, and cooking/baking new recipes.
