Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Albany, Ohio (relocation package available) Pay Rate: $125-150,000 annual salary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing formulations to meet clinical needs
  • Manage change controls and respond to those affecting product stability
  • Document product details for various departments and assist in stability studies and reporting
  • Lead investigations into product deviations and implement corrective actions. Evaluate and modify formulas based on reviews or feedback
  • Assist in Annual Product Reviews and feasibility studies, monitoring progress at the site level
  • Serve as a contact for R&D projects and help draft product protocols and reports. Ensure product development documentation is available for clients, partners, and regulatory bodies
  • Conduct bench studies and investigations related to OOS testing and execute research for both new and established products

Requirements:

  • Prepares and dispenses medications and associated pharmaceutical supplies ordered by physicians for use by inpatients, outpatients, and various hospital departments.

  • Weighs, measures & mixes ingredients; compounds & prepares medication, emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments using such equipment as graduates, balance, mortars, pestles and funnels.

  • Serves in an educational capacity for patients and staff. Gives in-services to Hospital staff relating to Pharmacy procedures and drug information such as availability, toxicology, investigational uses, etc.
Pharmacist Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Connecticut.
  • At least 1-2 years of pharmacy practice experience (preferably in a hospital pharmacy setting).
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
