Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile intravenous medications following USP <797> guidelines and other applicable regulations.

  • Adhere to aseptic techniques and proper gowning procedures during compounding activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is required.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in sterile IV compounding within a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of USP <797> guidelines and other relevant regulations governing sterile compounding.
  • Proficiency in performing sterile compounding calculations and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
