Schedule Options:

  • Sunday-Wednesday (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • Wednesday-Saturday (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • Mo/Tu/Fr/Sa (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compound non-sterile medications following established protocols

Job Title: Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician

Location: Charlestown, IN 

Job Type: Full time 7am - 330pm Monday - Friday

Pay: $18-20/hr depending on experience and licensing 

Job Summary: As a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring all prescriptions are accurately fulfilled and ready for patient pickup or delivery. You will work closely with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and other team members to provide exceptional service and maintain a safe and efficient pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions as directed by the pharmacist
  • Assist in managing inventory and ensuring proper stock levels for medications and supplies
  • Label and package medications for delivery or pickup in compliance with pharmacy regulations
  • Perform medication order entry and assist with medication-related inquiries
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient and provider inquiries as needed
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations
  • Follow safety and quality control standards to prevent medication errors
  • Assist with medication synchronization, medication therapy management, and other pharmacy services as needed
  • Participate in inventory control, stock rotation, and monitoring for expired medications
  • Support pharmacists in any other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred
  • **You must be registered in IN or in the process of doing so**
  • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related healthcare field - 1 year 
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medication names, and dosages
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process prescriptions
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems (preferred)
  • Ability to lift and move medication supplies as needed
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
