Pay: $30 - $34 per hour Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday) Start Date: Immediate, based on candidate availability

As a Tool & Die Maker, you'll craft, repair, and maintain high-quality dies, tools, and fixtures that keep our production running efficiently. You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure precision and quality that support our manufacturing excellence.

What You'll Do

As a tool & die maker, you will be responsible for: • Fabricating, assembling, and modifying stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures to meet part specifications and optimize cost-efficiency. • Performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and repairing dies and tools to minimize downtime and ensure consistent quality. • Setting up and adjusting tools and dies for production runs, ensuring dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards. • Conducting detailed inspections of stamped parts and tooling to verify compliance with specifications and customer expectations. • Developing and executing preventive maintenance schedules to identify and address potential issues proactively. • Working closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling problems, recommend improvements, and enhance processes. • Maintaining accurate records of die maintenance, repairs, and modifications, supporting continuous improvement efforts. • Following safety protocols diligently, promoting a culture of safety within the plant, and reporting hazards promptly. • Assisting in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices to build a strong, skilled team.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have: • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship or journeyman certification in tool and die making preferred. • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in die fabrication, repair, and metalworking within a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of die types (progressive, transfer, compound), materials, and stamping operations. • Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and interpretive skills for blueprints and schematics. • Advanced machining skills, including welding, grinding, and operating CNC equipment, lathes, mills, and surface grinders. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex tooling issues efficiently. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work comfortably in a noisy, manufacturing environment involving standing, bending, and repetitive movements.

Location & Schedule

This position is on-site in Valley View, OH, offering a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime.
