What You Will Do

As a Facilities Services Technician in Concord, NC, you will keep facilities safe, operational, and well maintained. You will work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.

Your daily responsibilities may include:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems

• Perform plumbing and electrical repairs

• Complete preventive maintenance and assigned work orders

• Perform light construction, renovations, and painting

• Build or repair walls, cabinets, bookcases, and similar structures

• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed

• Operate light equipment for mowing, landscaping, digging, leaf pickup, and snow removal

• Inspect buildings and identify maintenance or safety concerns

• Maintain records, logs, and inventory of materials and tools

• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety procedures

• Respond to emergency calls for critical repairs in Concord, NC or Kannapolis, NC

What You Need to Qualify

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record

• Three to five years of experience in building maintenance, mechanical repair, carpentry, industrial maintenance, equipment operation, or general maintenance

• HVAC experience preferred but not required

Preferred qualifications:

• Certificate, AAS, or AS degree in a related field
