Tool Room Supervisor

*This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift paying $30/hr

Purpose: Assist Supervisor to revise, repair and maintain molds, jigs, fixtures, gauges and cutters. Assist with repair of press components and trouble shoot molds and secondary tooling problems. Recommend to Supervisor a corrective action plan for problem molds and tools, which will ensure quality parts for the customer. Responsibilities:

• Advise Supervisor immediately of any unreported mold damage, wear or unsatisfactory conditions
• Operate milling machine, lathe, drill press, surface grinder and auxiliary equipment
• Use and operate tool room equipment and machinery in a safe manner
• Maintain tool room equipment and keep work area organized and clean
• Perform other duties as required

Training Requirements (OJT 90 Days): Work Experience:

• Preferred 3 – 5 years related tool room experience in an injection molding environment
• Must be able to read part and tool drawings and use standard measuring instruments
• Working knowledge of equipment, molds, fixtures, etc.
• Ability to be flexible due to priority changes
