Job Title: Material Handler I

Pay: $16.00 per hour Hours: First shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Start Date: ASAP

As a Material Handler I, you'll support production by accurately processing customer and replenishment orders, handling raw materials, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting quality and performance goals, with room for professional development.

What You'll Do

As a Material Handler I, you will be responsible for:

• Pulling raw material requests for delivery to production work centers and scanning items into RF devices.
• Supplying necessary consumables to production areas and disposing of waste such as pallets and recyclables responsibly.
• Returning materials to the warehouse, consolidating supplies, and scanning items into RF devices during put-away.
• Following all safety protocols, including performing safety startup checks on powered industrial vehicles, wearing all required PPE, and participating in housekeeping and standard work routines.
• Reporting scrap, damaged products, or any quality issues to supervisors immediately.
• Building positive relationships with team members by supporting additional responsibilities and tasks as needed.
• Performing other duties assigned by supervisors to support overall warehouse efficiency.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Valid forklift operator certification, with demonstrable safe operation skills, including at elevated heights.
• Ability to handle freight properly and comply with hazardous shipping regulations.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
• Reading skills sufficient to identify labels and understand written documentation.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials, and work safely with equipment.
• Prior warehouse experience (1-4 years) is preferred.
• Skills in operating forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers are a plus but not required, as training will be provided within the first 3 months.
