I have been recruiting travel nurses and techs in all specialties since 2000. I've been named Recruiter of the Year by Healthcare Traveler Magazine three times. By building lasting friendships with each of my travelers, I'm able to work toward the goal of keeping them working with me throughout their entire travel career. Before becoming a healthcare recruiter with TNAA, I served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 12 years in various duties around the world. I live in Florence, South Carolina, with my wife of 26 years, 2 children and a 2 dogs.
One of my travelers said, “Ron is like a brother and part of our family. Never have I picked up the phone and he did not respond. He always called to check on me even when he didn’t need anything. That makes me feel special and appreciated. That’s why I keep coming back and sticking with him. Ron is a very hands-on recruiter and makes sure you are content throughout your assignment.”
Hi, I am Angie Steed. I am married & have 3 kids and 2 dogs - a yorkie/papillon & aussie doodle and live in Little Rock AR. I have been a travel nurse recruiter since 2020. I work with all specialties and have placed nurses in almost every state in the country. I have worked through several markets of travel nursing and love the challenges & changes that comes with it. My favorite part of my job is helping a travel nurse or travel nurse pair/trio find assignments that they love. Whether they want to experience different parts of the country, get experience in Trauma & Teaching facilities, be near family or friends - I love helping them find the perfect fit and supporting them through their assignment. It is important to me that they feel supported, listened to & know that I will always be honest & transparent with them. The industry can be confusing & discouraging & I want them to have positivity with their recruiter & agency.
I’m a wife, a mom to a sweet little girl, a Jesus lover, a foodie, and a beach girl at heart. I’ve been with TNAA since August 2022, and every day I grow more passionate about what I do! My main focus is helping my travelers find assignments that not only help them grow in their careers but also fit into their personal lives. I make it a priority to get to know my travelers on a personal level—doing so helps me better serve you, and I truly value the relationships I build. I’m constantly inspired by the dedication and passion of the healthcare professionals I have the privilege of working with—they’re making a difference every single day. My goal is to make the process as easy as possible, treat you like family, and always follow through on my promises.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I graduated in 2016 with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University after a career change from tourism and marketing in Chicago, IL. I began traveling right after I passed the boards and got to experience almost every setting from sea to shining sea. From Ohio, to North Carolina, and then Washington, I loved my life as a travel PT! With friends new and old along the way, travel therapy let me hike, eat and explore all across the country. Whether it's seeing the sunrise in the mountains of Asheville, NC or trying new food next to Puget Sound, I am so grateful for all that travel PT allowed me to experience.
Hi, my name is Amanda, I have over 16 years of experience working with people in a variety of roles. My heart lies in building a trusting relationship by truly listening to my travelers in order to help each one to reach their goals. As a military spouse, I have a unique understanding of the challenges and the excitement that comes with moving across the country frequently. The first duty station I moved to with my Air Force husband was to Anchorage, Alaska! In my life, I have had the privilege to live in 25 different cities, throughout 8 different states. So needless to say, I have had the chance to experience settling into new places. Currently, my husband and I are stationed in Little Rock, AR, where we have been now for 12 years! I have an amazing set of twins (one boy and one girl) and a golden retriever named River. Outside of recruiting, I am also a Competitive Gymnastics Coach for my daughter and her team. I also enjoying spending time outdoors and being active from hiking and fishing to staying healthy through fitness.
I've spent my career in the healthcare industry, primarily as a registered dental hygienist. My sister is a nurse, so I understand the complexities and rewards of patient care. I obtained a Healthcare Executive MBA and chose to work at TNAA because it is a quality-based, ethical, and transparent company that I can partner with to help others explore the country while growing in their experiences personally and professionally. This has been a wonderful second career, and my nurses are so loyal. My favorite fun thing in the past 5 years of recruiting has been to randomly visit some of my travelers while they were on an assignment, coast to coast. I'm a traveling recruiter extraordinaire! Let's connect!
If you’re looking for a recruiter who will empower you to chase your career goals, I am your perfect fit. With a passion for personal development, I leverage my extensive experience to build powerful relationships built on support. I believe in arming my nurses with knowledge and guidance so they can approach their travel nursing career with confidence. But above all, I want my nurses to know that, when they’re far from home, that I'm with them. It might seem small, but being a reliable source my nurses can count on is important to me.
I'm a Senior Lead Recruiter for Stability Healthcare who's been working in the healthcare travel industry for over 10 years. Having worked in multiple roles including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, Clinical, and Recruitment, I have a well rounded view the industry and how it works. I live in Palm Springs, CA with my beautiful wife and two young sons. If you can't find me with them, go check the golf course.
If I had to sum myself up in three words, I'd say I'm authentic, driven, competitive, and adventurous. What sets me apart from other recruiters is my dedication to getting to know each traveler on a personal level. By taking the time to understand their unique preferences and goals, I can recommend the perfect contracts tailored to their needs.
If I could have a recruiting superpower, it would be the ability to predict the future. Imagine being able to foresee which travel contracts will open up before they're even available! It would give me a competitive edge and allow me to offer unparalleled opportunities to my travelers.
