My 30-minute virtual meeting with Kim was excellent and our conversation was informative, pleasant, and covered a wide range of topics. After completing the requested on-line tests, I do have a concern relating to Microsoft Word and Excel. I had informed Kim that my knowledge/use of these two programs was utilizing existing and/or developing basic reporting and analysis tools for specific functions of the positions involved. Thus, my skills are limited to the basics and skill level that was required at that point in time. If a higher skillset is required for the position we discussed, I will be happy to make every effort to accomplish that. I am a quick-study and this has worked well for me in the past. My background includes certifications as payroll professional and administrative assistant/secretary, along with bookkeeping, and other accounting duties utilizing QuickBooks, and the creation of basic excel spreadsheets and various publications such as newsletters, bulletins and flyers at the administrative assistant level. I have progressed to and am searching for a part-time position as an administrator with this type of background who serves as a "hub" within the company to ensure the accurate and timely oversight and completion of all facets of the business. This would be similar but not limited to my most recent position as Office Administrator for a local parish.
