I am the Recruitment Assistant here at TriStarr.
Since acquiring my degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from Central Penn in 2020, I have been building my professional skills in Retail Management and Banking. I am very excited about this new opportunity to learn and grow more in the field of staffing and recruiting.
My role here is to provide support to the staffing managers to ensure a smooth transition between vetting, interviewing, hiring, and final placements. Whether that be by completing background checks, conducting orientations, or pre-screening resumes. I love being part of the process that helps our candidates find their next exciting opportunities!
When I am not working, I can be found on my balcony with a good book, spending time with friends and family, cuddling with my almost 10-year-old Bunny Pip, or traveling with my partner both near and far!

About Shannon Millar:

Shannon reached out to me more than a month before the beginning date of the actual assignment, asking if I would be interested in working this particular job. The job involved work interacting and assisting a large group of people attending a conference. Because I really enjoy working and interacting with people I was quite happy to be offered the position. In the time between being offered the job and the actual start of the work Shannon was in contact with me on a number of occasions to let me know specifics of the work involved as those details became known to her. She even contacted me a few weeks after her initial job offer, asking if I would be willing to work a different position at the conference that would entail additional hours. I appreciated that she asked me and I accepted the new offer/position. From her initial contact with me through the actual conference Shannon was in frequent contact making sure I was aware of all the assignment details including changes that were made. Shannon showed up on the first day of the conference to touch base with all the TriStarr temps working it to see how things were going. Overall, I felt very well "cared for" by Shannon working at this conference.
