Was on time for our team video call, asked technical questions and paid attention to my responses.
Shared what the client is looking for and how soon they want to move in the hiring process.
Was friendly and knowledgeable.
Super pleasant so far working with Jim. He reached out to me and took the time to really gather the info on my skills and experience and took my compensation and benefits needs into deep consideration. Jim quickly reached out to me when a quality position came to him (within 10 minutes). I look forward to our continued collaboration.
Jim was an awesome recruiter to work with; very friendly, offered great advice, and very professional. With regard to TriCom's policy of contacting references BEFORE the official offer came from the Client was not to my liking. All three of my references were contacted with somewhat lengthy questions, and that is understandable, but certainly not until the offer is extended, or at least right before the final interview with the Client. Why would a background reference check be completed before the first interview? The reason for my concern is that valuable time was taken from each one of my references, and for what?? The Client chose a 'different pathway', as a result, a total waste of time for my references. Just frustrated now with TriCom and absolutely has nothing to do with Jim! I am just very frustrated with TriCom because of their policy with regard to a job-seeker who certainly does not want to ask their references for their work-time time to be used again unnecessarily, even before an offer is extended. Sincerely, Sherene Long
