About Gena Deaton Petruk:

What can I say!!! Gena is not only an amazing and compassionate person/recruiter but also a dear friend. Gena has been my recruiter for nearly 3 years!! She’s honest, tells it like it is, and her integrity is exceptional!! She’s always professional and there for me, regardless of the time of day. She listens to my plan and goes to bat for me when needed. During the beginning of the Covid pandemic and being 3days away from my family with so much uncertainty, Gena not only called nearly daily to check in on me until my contract was finished, but she cried with me about my fears, supported me with my decisions and gave me virtual hugs!! She sends me details of jobs she thinks I’d be interested in, as well as those I’m curious about as I near my next contract. I think the world of her and by no means would ever think of going anywhere else!! She, as well as Travel Nurse Across America treat me and everyone who works with them as family!!!...not just a number or a working horse but with true compassion, caring hearts and genuine respect!
