Ian is very interpersonal and a great communicator. He made sure to check in with me often and understood my needs. He is very helpful in the process overall
I've spoken to a few recruiters prior to Ian, and I always try to educate and learn new things on my journey. I will say if it were not for Ian, I probably would not be traveling. I've contemplated on traveling for years but never could do it. Ian has a way about him that makes people feel comfortable talking with him, he is trustworthy and he always has our back. He talks WITH you and listens with no judgement on the nurses. At times, he IS a friend, not pretnds to be. He has a knack of connecting with people in a familiar way, as if you have known him forever.
If I have questions, even if I saw another agency listing, he answers with 100% transparency, and that means the world to anyone! Ian is down to earth, caring and so easy going which makes for a great repore! Most importantly, he always goes the extra mile to help out with any concerns I may have going into a new assignment, he is an extra "virtual guide" on day 1 of a new facility, he checks up on us, asks us about the process and makes sure we feel good about it, if there are any concerns he will address them all!
I know nurses who have 3-4 recruiters, I think 1-2 is fine for various reasons, but to me, I think Ian is my forever recruiter 100% just as people have forever homes. It just feels right and comfortable.

Throughout my time working with TotalMed, I never questioned whether Ian had my back. He was always looking out for me, making sure I had the communication and support that I needed, and working tirelessly to secure my next contracts when the time came. Ian is a great Recruiter. Very supportive and patient. He answered my questions with great feedback. He helped me with researching and made sure I found the location that was suitable for me. He responded very quickly regardless of the time. I was always sure he would respond back with answers to my questions or concerns. A great human being in general and definitely a plus to totalmed.

I ve been with Ian since my very 1st traveling job so that should speak volumes after speaking with multiple other travelers. Ian is much more than a recruiter, he's literallly such an asset to TotalMed, he's a recruiter who listens to every aspact of ur needs.He goes above and beyond and exceedes all my expectations of what an assignment entails. Even if there are some discrepencies in an assignment that he, nor I had any idea about, he will stick his neck out for us nurses, he has A HEART!!! Ian is much more of a friend, a counselor, our confidante, our guidance, always answers us back with any questions. He even walks us thru some of the questions on forms that some of us, "more mature" nurses have no clue wat its asking, he's polite, patient, professional and passionate about his career AND our's!!
When I listen to other travelers saying they call their recruiter but nvr get answers or it takes several days for a return call, I tell them that Im always a text away from asking a question and Ian responds!! I trust Ian, whole heartedly, and Ive referred him to a friend whom Im traveling with currently!!
