In the beginning, founder Clifford Stivers set his Chicago recruiting firm apart by devising his own system of testing skills, hiring a statistician to validate test scores, and instituting the concept of quality control, revolutionary practices for the industry at the time. As the company grew, he expanded into Chicago’s suburbs in the early 1950s, established branch offices on both coasts in the 1960s, then gradually added offices in major cities across the country. Stivers soon became a full-service recruiting firm with a national reach, providing jobs to thousands of people from coast to coast.

About Robin Mueller:

Robin stuck with me. Robin was always asking me about jobs she had found and asked if I was interested. She even went as far as to explain what the jobs were about which I ended up not taking any of them, but she said that she would continually look for me. Then I found a call center job myself, ended up hating it because it just was not for me. While all of that was going on my husband had a cardiac arrest. Robin was great because while all that was going on Robin stayed in the background working on my behalf. She always asked did I want her to keep looking for me. I told her yes. Then she found the right job for me - asked me if I was interested and I told her yes. She found the right job for me!!! I appreciate all her behind the scenes work and help. I would deifinitely recommend her and I did to my daughter who is an executive manager. She explained to her like she did me about finding something for her. She is now working with her like she did with me. I appreciate all she has done to find the right job for me. She didn't give up searching. Thanks, Robin!!! I listed my daughter, Lauren who is already working with Robin.
