Staff Accountant Responsibilities Include:

  • Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts and to document business transactions
  • Perform month and year end closing activities to the general ledger
  • Assist in the processing of payroll, the reconciliation of all payroll deductions for various benefits and payroll taxes and the related tax filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of costs reports, budgets and/or financial forecasts
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Agency’s systems through the timely completion of the assigned documentation in accordance with applicable legal, fiscal, licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Staff Accountant Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other business school degree is required
